I had to start a project the night before I'm leaving town to go camping, and I have nothing to offer for the ten minutes I'm going to be in front of a computer today, except a quotation....but I'm going camping...camping with my kid who is the greatest. Tonight I will write by flashlight (that I will buy at a Flying J because this is how I prepare for camping)... and it will be brilliant.

Do the Watusi

In a fit of inspiration from Jessica (sealevelstudioblogspot.com) and her one [painting] a day for a year project, I'm going to start my own one a day for a year project. I'm going to do mine a little differently though. I will do some paintings here and there but I'm going to focus on music and words. I sat in front of the set up page for a good ten minutes trying to think of a name for it and the word watusi popped into my head. I actually didn't know what the Watusi was about 15 minutes ago. I think it fits pretty good and if you don't know what it is, here's a demo from Wednesday Addams (my aunt):
